Job summary
LINK Staffing is recruiting BAS Technicians for direct-hire opportunities with an established commercial HVAC and building automation company in Houston. You will work on commercial BAS that monitor and control HVAC equipment and building performance, with opportunities for growth in programming, commissioning, service or project leadership.
Compensation is based on BAS experience and capabilities, up to $65/hour.
Qualifications
- Experience or technical training in Building Automation Systems or Commercial HVAC.
- Strong ability to read or learn wiring diagrams and technical documents.
- Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficient with computers and basic software tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to work in varied environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, start up, test and service Building Automation Systems.
- Assist with or independently perform DDC system commissioning.
- Troubleshoot HVAC controls, sensors, controllers and related equipment.
- Read wiring diagrams, control drawings and project documentation.
- Configure and update controller software and graphics; document changes and results.
