ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Chicago is seeking a BAS Controls Project Manager to lead projects from design through commissioning, manage DDC/PLC/SCADA programming, and coordinate with clients and design teams to deliver an integrated model.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in DDC/industrial controls, strong knowledge of control architectures, and excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' DDC/industrial controls experience.
• Strong control systems architecture knowledge.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara platform.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% on site.
• Familiar with construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Manage DDC/PLC/SCADA programming and testing.
• Review control narratives, drawings, submittals, and as-builts.
• Support equipment buyout and procurement planning.
• Direct field installation of low-voltage controls.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams.
• Grow ARCO’s self-perform controls services.
• Troubleshoot issues from discovery to resolution.
• Handle diverse project types: Mission Critical, etc.
• Maintain safety and quality as top priorities.
