SSOE is seeking a Controls Engineer to support design and delivery of BAS/BMS and EPMS across diverse facilities. The role blends hands-on controls software with engineering design, specifications, and system architecture development.

You will prepare drawings, write specifications, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure quality, on-schedule delivery, and client satisfaction. Travel and a valid driver's license may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, or closely related field).
• 3+ years of related engineering experience; 5+ years preferred.
• BAS/BMS and EPMS design experience with drawings, sequences, and integration.
• Experience with BAS/BMS/EPMS applications, including controller logic and graphics.
• Experience writing BAS/BMS/EPMS specifications and developing system architectures.
• Knowledge of controls networks, power monitoring, HVAC, and third‑party integrations.
• Familiarity with codes, cybersecurity, and industry practices for building controls.

Responsabilidades

• Develop BAS/BMS and EPMS designs for facilities.
• Prepare control drawings, architecture diagrams, and system documents.
• Write BAS/BMS/EPMS specs and control narratives.
• Define architectures and integration strategies (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC UA).
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, IT, and other disciplines.
• Review vendor submittals and software deliverables for conformance.
• Support testing, commissioning, and field verification.
• Assist with client meetings to define scope and progress.
• Use CAD and engineering tools; stay current with controls tech and codes.
