Job summary

Baker Group is seeking a Service Technician-Automation to support onsite or remote troubleshooting of Building Automation Systems and to perform preventative software maintenance and upgrades. This role requires collaborating with technicians, deploying software updates, and assisting with startup and commissioning across various client sites.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC/DDC system experience and a 2-year electronics/HVAC-related degree; strong customer service skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC & DDC systems preferred.
• 2-year degree in Electronics, Computer Programming, or HVAC/Industrial Controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting on BAS and Baker Group products.
• Deploy software upgrades and manage licensing.
• Diagnose and repair software and DDC issues on client sites.
• Collaborate with technicians to develop solutions and share knowledge.
• Assist in startup, commissioning, and validation processes on sites.
