Mt. Bachelor Bartenders play a big role in the Food & Beverage Department’s success. There are bars located in each of our lodges and vary in size and volume, and each has its own personality that we try to match with our bartenders. Our bartenders create a fun atmosphere while still providing a safe space for guests and employees.
Extensive guest and employee interaction.
License/Certifications: Oregon Food Handler’s Card and OLCC permit
Technical: Must be proficient with computers and POS systems.
Physical Capabilities: Must be able to change and/or move full kegs of beer. Able to stand and move around quickly for long periods of time.
Additional: Must have a positive attitude. Flexible with hours and days of work. Able to work any hours of the day, any days of the week. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Superb customer service and problem-solving skills. Must work well under pressure.
Minimum education required: High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum time in related position: 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume business required.

Bachelor requires the ability to shovel snow, lift up to 10 pounds, and walk on steep and uneven surfaces. While performing the duties of this role, the employee will be required to frequently bend, reach, climb, push, pull, lift over 50 pounds, and stand for prolonged periods of time. Additionally, the position will require frequent visual concentration, rapid reactions to changes, and the utilization of hand/eye coordination.
Current Hiring Rate: $16.00/hr
