Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC is hiring part-time bartenders at The Lodge at Historic Lewes to provide exceptional beverage service to residents and guests. You will prepare and serve drinks, keep the bar area clean, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of bartending experience in hospitality or senior living, strong knowledge of beverages, and the ability to handle cash transactions. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a bartender in hospitality or senior living.
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and resident preferences.
• Interact with residents and guests, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and disposing of waste.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proper storage of beverages.
• Monitor inventory and assist in events and bar setup/breakdown.

This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all patrons.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and resident preferences.- Interact with residents and guests, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste.- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of beverages.- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding stock needs.- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events and special occasions.- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless dining and social experience for residents and guests.- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent.Required Experience:- Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in a hospitality or senior living environment.- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive atmosphere.Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, wine, and beer.- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, guests, and team members.- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.
