Job summary

Strap Tank Restaurant & Brewery in St. George, UT is seeking a Bartender to join the opening team. You will craft beverages, provide friendly service, and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

Flexible schedules, paid training, and earning potential through tips are offered; experience preferred but training available; evening/weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred, but training is available.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, beer and beverage trends is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build guest rapport.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays; on-call is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails and craft beer.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and inform management of low stock; stay knowledgeable about menu offerings.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Handle cash, process payments, and operate the POS system accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operations.
