Job summary

The Bartender position at Sprowls Horizon Sports Park is a part-time role within the Food & Beverage department in Pinellas Park, FL. The bartender will prepare and serve beverages for regular service and events, maintain the bar during service, and assist with restocking and cleanup.

Applicants should be able to work weekends and nights, communicate positively with guests, and have prior customer service or bartending experience. Alcohol service training within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Weekend and evening availability, plus some weekdays.
• Must pass alcohol serving course within 60 days after hire.
• Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, alone or with others.
• One year of customer service experience preferred; bartending/food experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bartender will prep the bar for regular service and special events, maintain the bar during service while serving guests, and will be responsible for the restock and cleanup of the bar. We are looking for positive individuals to responsibly prepare beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and serve our guests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages
• Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks/drinks
• Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Ensure bar and lounge areas are clean and well presented
• Any additional tasks assigned by management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays
• Must pass alcohol serving course within 60 days after hire
• Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
• Ability to work individually or with others in a fast-paced work environment
• One year of customer service experience with the general public preferred
• Prior experience with bartending and food preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Facility has intermittent noise
