Job summary

Brays Island Plantation in Sheldon, SC is seeking a Bartender/Server to provide attentive liquor and dining service at the food and beverage facilities. You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, take reservations for dinner and events, and ensure service aligns with the ONE BRAYS Leadership Credo.

The role requires prior server experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a professional image suitable for a high-volume operation.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Previous server experience highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills a must.
Image must be professional and well-suited to a high volume, service activity.

Responsibilities

Inspect bar area prior to opening and ensure supplies are stocked for the shift.
Prepare garnishes, mixes and drinks, and complete setup requirements.
Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to recipes approved by management.
Record cash/inventory transactions using POS; reconcile cash at shift end.
Maintain and clean all equipment; keep station clean and secure per closing procedures.
Comply with all laws/policies regarding sale and disposition of alcoholic beverages.
Take reservations and provide service to porch and back-of-house diners.
Foster a One Brays culture and assist supervisor with other duties.
