Job summary

Brays Island Plantation in Sheldon, SC is seeking a Bartender/Server to provide attentive liquor and dining service at the food and beverage facilities. You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, take reservations for dinner and events, and ensure service aligns with the ONE BRAYS Leadership Credo.

The role requires prior server experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a professional image suitable for a high-volume operation.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous server experience highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills a must.
• Image must be professional and well-suited to a high volume, service activity.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bar area prior to opening and ensure supplies are stocked for the shift.
• Prepare garnishes, mixes and drinks, and complete setup requirements.
• Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to recipes approved by management.
• Record cash/inventory transactions using POS; reconcile cash at shift end.
• Maintain and clean all equipment; keep station clean and secure per closing procedures.
• Comply with all laws/policies regarding sale and disposition of alcoholic beverages.
• Take reservations and provide service to porch and back-of-house diners.
• Foster a One Brays culture and assist supervisor with other duties.
