Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort invites applications for a Draft Day Bartender/Server. You will welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages to create an exceptional dining experience.

The role requires operating the Micros POS, handling payments, checking IDs, and assisting teammates during peak periods. The schedule is part-time with evenings, weekends and holidays, and you’ll earn $8.05/hr base + tips.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills and cash handling ability.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, liquors and common recipes.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Excellent guest service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials.
• Operate Micros terminal, handle payments.
• Take orders and answer questions regarding the menu.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar.
• Monitor dining experience for satisfaction with food and service.
• Respond promptly to requests.
• Perform side work at shift start and end.
• Assist teammates during peak periods.
• Maintain clean service areas at all times.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Check IDs to verify age.
• Serve appetizers, cocktails, wine, and beer.
• Assist with wine and liquor selection.
• Clean bar area and equipment.
• Take beverage orders from staff or patrons.
• Observe guests and manage alcohol intake; arrange transportation if needed.
