Staypineapple is hiring a Bartender/Server in Seattle to deliver impeccable service to guests, assist with food and beverage choices, and act as an ambassador for the Staypineapple brand. You will mix cocktails, serve drafts, and help create memorable experiences for travelers and locals alike.

Requirements include previous bartending experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant food handler’s and liquor permits.

Who we’re looking for:

BARTENDER / SERVER

Impeccable service is the lynchpin of hospitality—and hospitality is something we take really darned seriously (it’s in our name, after all). Our Servers are responsible for assisting guests with food and beverage choices, attending to their needs and making sure every dining experience is nothing short of spectacular. For weary travelers, you’re more than a bartender. You’re their absolute favorite person at the end of a long flight or a stressful day. In addition to expertly mixing cocktails and serving up ice-cold drafts, you are an ultra-friendly ambassador for everything we do here at Pineapple.

What to expect:

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

1. Demonstrate and promote a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
2. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Monitor and maintain the guests dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, and refill glasses.
4. Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
5. Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant and hotel Standard Operating Procedures.
6. Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar.
7. Serve snacks and food to guests seated at tables.

Your experience and qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous bartending experience.
3. Food Handler’s and Liquor Permit required.
4. Exceptional customer service skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to work calmly under pressure.
7. Ability to contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic.
8. Understanding and application of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

Pay: $21.30 per hour + tips

Status: Part Time
