Meow Wolf is hiring seasonal, part-time Bartenders to champion creativity and inclusivity while serving a rotating menu of experiential drinks. You will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and engage guests with a performative, narrative-driven service style.

Qualifications include 21+ with prior bartender experience, strong customer service, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Bilingual skills are a plus, especially English and Spanish.

Competenze

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Prior experience working as a bartender.
Strong service skills and welcoming demeanor.
Adaptable to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Possession of or ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness certification, preferably TABC ServSafe certified.
Prior experience with point-of-sale systems.
Bilingual preferred, especially but not limited to English and Spanish.

Process POS (point of sale) purchases for food and beverage items by following established protocols.
Report emergencies to the manager.
Respond to injuries and emergencies appropriately.
Collaborate with other team members to create and maintain a pleasant environment for guests.
Communicate with others to exchange information.
Learn and operate point of sale systems.
Follow and enforce safety rules.
Maintain composure in stressful situations.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

As an ambassador of the Meow Wolf multiverse, Bartenders champion weirdness, radical inclusion, and the power of creativity to change the world. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Bartender promotes a continuation of the Meow Wolf experience that transports guests through a rotating menu of experiential drinks. These Bartenders prepare a variety of beverages, interact with guests, and assess guest needs and preferences to make menu recommendations. We encourage Bartenders to elevate the narrative within our story world by executing their job duties with a performative and creative flair.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment: This position works primarily in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines and small and/ or enclosed spaces.
Physical Demands: Moving in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
Remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Positioning or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols.

Work Schedule

This is a Seasonal, Part-Time position with an effective start date on or after 11/9/2026, with the position ending no later than 90 days from start date. We are looking for those who have evening, weekend and holiday availability. Approx. 20 hours per week. Schedules are based on business needs.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not require supervisory responsibility.
