Job summary

Meow Wolf Dallas, LLC in Grapevine, Texas is seeking a part-time Security Officer to support the Safety & Security team. You will patrol and inspect the exhibit areas, deter disturbances, and maintain a safe environment for staff, guests, and contractors.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, responding to medical or conduct issues, and assisting with money pickups. Strong communication and willingness to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required for verbal and written communication.
• Full and open availability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Security Officer assists the Safety & Security Manager and Assistant Manager, Security in providing a safe and secure work environment.

Promotes good working relations through courteous, helpful, and professional contact with employees, guests, and vendors/contractors.

Responsible for securing the premises and personnel by patrolling and inspecting inside and outside of the exhibit, protecting against fire, theft, vandalism, employee/ guest injury, illegal activity and/or inappropriate guest/employee activity in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

How you will do it…

• Support security activities to safeguard Company assets, employees, guests, and visitors.
• Maintain a daily positive interaction with guests and employees.
• Respond to incidents to include, but not limited to medical, Company Code of Conduct violation by guest, and alcohol/drug in nature.
• Complete daily reports, incident reports, supplemental reports, and other written/electronic documentation as required.

• A willingness to learn.

• First Aid, CPR, AED certified.

Work environment & physical demands…

Variable Role: This is a part time variable position. There is no set schedule or availability of hours. Work is offered to those who are available to accept it. Shifts will be communicated and once accepted, shifts must be worked as assigned, in compliance with company policy. Comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. Position, move, and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds. Remain stationary for prolonged periods. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Moving in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments to include tight spaces.
