Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a motivated and passionate Bartender (Seasonal) | Bluestem Adult Pool Bar to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.

Bluestem Bar is where guests can take in superb views of the resort and landscape at our adult urban oasis. A place to unwind and energize during the day, and, at night it’s the perfect spot to enjoy light bites and artisanal cocktails as the vibe picks up.

The bartender will provide efficient friendly customer service and maintain a clean professional appearance. He/She will ensure guests are satisfied in a prompt, timely manner.

Pool Season is from March 2025 - September 2025

Responsibilities

1. Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs and respond to guest inquiries or requests.
2. Must have full knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
3. Monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of bar area.
4. Properly provide silverware and condiments prior to food being presented at bar area.
5. Clean and reset the bar area as guests depart or after drink preparation.
6. Proper bar setup and breakdown.
7. Triple sink procedures.
8. Communicate professionally with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff at all times.
9. Contribute to a professional workplace that maximizes employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness.
10. Work well with a diverse Front of House and Back of House staff.
11. Ensure responsible service of alcohol by following all legal requirements including carding and consumption.
12. Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and record all transactions promptly in Micros system.
13. Maintain guest tabs and process payments promptly.
14. Monitor pars levels.
15. Sell and upsell products.
16. Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 1 year bartending experience, high volume & casual environment preferred.
2. Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
5. Unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certifications or obtain upon hire.
6. Maintain professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
7. Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
8. Ability to work outdoors.
