Overview

The Bartender is responsible for setting up the bar area, mixing drinks for guests and servers, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and controlling liquor inventory.

Responsibilities

1. Process guest checks, handle cash, credit cards, and room charges according to standards.
2. Perform opening and closing side work to ensure prompt and efficient service.
3. Prepare beverages and cocktails following standards for mixing, portion control, and presentation.
4. Serve guests with food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
5. Keep lounge areas clean and tidy.
6. Be familiar with the computer system.
7. Complete cashiering functions, including closing checks and guest service.
8. Follow all state liquor laws.
9. Serve liquor responsibly, report intoxicated guests to management.
10. Maintain beverage par levels by completing requisitions (bottle for bottle).
11. Stock and clean glassware.
12. Check soda tanks for fullness and security.
13. Prepare garnishes.
14. Assist in cleaning tables and lounge areas as needed.
15. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

2. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local laws.
3. Flexible schedule; able to work long hours.
4. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
