Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel New York in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Bartender to join our team. The role requires at least four years of prior experience, preferably in a four- or five-star hotel, with clear communication, composure under pressure, and professional hospitality.

WHAT YOU WILLROCK

To thrive here, you bring at least four years of prior experience, ideally within a four‑or five‑star hotel environment, along with the ability to communicate clearly, stay patient under pressure, and approach every situation with tact and professionalism.

You’re comfortable reconciling transactions at the end of each shift, cash out, and maintain a balanced bank. You ensure sequence of service is followed for all guests. You accommodate guests’ special requests whenever possible. You process payments according to POS and cash handling procedures and ensure all checks are closed out timely. If you speak additional languages beyond English, even better! You understand the rhythm of lifestyle hotels and you’re ready to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when the property is at its most vibrant.

This role is active and hands‑on. You’ll spend a good portion of your shift working with guests and with your team, assisting your coworkers as needed to complete the required activities and deliver amplified service. Always smiling and offering a warm greeting to all.
