A Live! Bartender is responsible for greeting guests and providing prompt, accurate, and courteous beverage service while displaying an energetic, fun, and outgoing personality. Prepare and serve beverages to both guests and servers who deliver beverages to guests.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact
- Prepare beverages for guests and cocktail servers to provide excellent guest service.
- Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments.
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes, practicing prudent portion control.
- Manage ordering and transactions through the register, maintaining accountability and providing receipts to guests for all beverages served.
- Handle all cash and bank procedures in accordance with variance policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest and work areas, including removing empty glasses and cleaning ashtrays.
- Comply with all State, Federal, and Company liquor regulations, including laws pertaining to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Ensure adherence to all federal and state gaming regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Understand and comply with all PLCB regulations.
- Follow company and department appearance standards.
Qualifications
Skills You'll Need to Succeed
- Effective communication skills.
- RAMP certification.
- Ability to work in smoke-filled environments.
- Basic understanding of financial data and arithmetic functions.
- Obtain and maintain licensure as required by the State Gaming Agency.
- Knowledge of the Responsible Gaming Program.
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
