Job Title: Bartender

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Bartender to join Graduate Annapolis by Hilton and its team of hospitality enthusiasts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Set up the bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, additives, soda, and other supplies.
  2. Ensure the bar, glasses, and cutlery are clean and sanitized.
  3. Verify that guests are of legal drinking age.
  4. Prepare drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences.
  5. Present the bar bill and process payments.
  6. Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  7. Monitor guests for overconsumption and take necessary actions.
  8. Secure beverages, food, and equipment, and handle cash deposits.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Safe Serving certification required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to exceed guest expectations.
