Bartender - Part-Time - Theatre at Grand Prairie

Join us as a Bartender - Part-Time - Theatre at Grand Prairie at Oak View Group.

Position Overview

The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a fast-paced environment. The role requires personable, professional individuals who maintain excellent attendance and flexibility to work scheduled events.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage of $5.00 plus tips. Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and matching. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent guest service, interacting positively with guests and co-workers.
  • Follow bar procedures, menus, and regulations for serving alcohol, including ID checks and serving size standards.
  • Upsell products and handle cash accurately.
  • De-escalate intoxicated or confrontational guests, involving management or security as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the bar, including equipment and cooler organization.
  • Complete set-up and breakdown duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum six months bartending experience.
  • Valid TABC and food handler certifications.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and long hours.
