Oak View Group is a global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry, working with world-class venues and influential events worldwide.

The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Candidates must be personable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and availability for scheduled events are required.

This role offers an hourly rate of $25 plus tips, with benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and matching for part-time roles. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Oak View Group partners with the Seattle Aquarium, a conservation organization dedicated to ocean health and marine education, hosting over 27 million visitors since opening.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Providing excellent guest service and maintaining professional standards.
  2. Following bar procedures, including proper alcohol service and ID verification.
  3. Upselling beverages and managing cash accurately.
  4. De-escalating intoxicated or confrontational guests.
  5. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  6. Performing setup and breakdown duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • At least six months of bartending experience.
  • Ability to handle cash and operate bar equipment responsibly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
  • Bartending school preferred.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
