Base pay range

$10.00/hr - $10.00/hr

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $10, plus tips.

For PT roles: Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities
  • Meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus, providing service accordingly.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations.
  • Learn about various beer, wine, and spirits, and upsell products to guests.
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to standards.
  • Verify guest IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
  • Communicate cut-off times to guests as required.
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns.
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations; contact management or security if needed.
  • Resolve issues or escalate to management when beyond scope.
  • Manage cash accurately; responsible for assigned bank.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and ensure equipment is clean and functional.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar and organization of supplies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum six months of bartending experience.
  • Accurate cash handling skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed with team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.
  • Bartending school preferred.
