Overview

This role is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Candidates must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role pays an hourly wage of $4.01, plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations.
• Learn about various beer, wine, and spirits, and suggestively upsell products.
• Pour drinks responsibly according to standards.
• Verify guest age by checking IDs in accordance with regulations.
• Communicate cut-off times to guests as required.
• Respond to customer requests or concerns, de-escalate intoxicated guest situations, and involve management or security when necessary.
• Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is well maintained.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar as needed.
