Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled based on business needs.

This role pays an hourly rate of $10.60, plus tips.

Responsibilities
  • Meet the company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide the described service.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations.
  • Learn about various beer, wine, and spirits, and suggestively upsell to guests.
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to standards.
  • Check guest IDs to verify age compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate cut-off times to guests as required.
  • Respond to customer requests or concerns.
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security when necessary.
  • Consult with management if unable to resolve issues.
  • Restock and request additional products as needed.
  • Handle cash accurately and manage the issued bank.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and ensure equipment is well-maintained.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of the cooler.
Qualifications
  • At least six months of bartending experience.
  • Accurate cash handling skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
  • Bartending school certification preferred.
