The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $9.98, plus tips.

Responsibilities include:

1. Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
2. Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus, providing service as described.
3. Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations.
4. Learn about various beer, wine, and spirits, and suggestively upsell to guests.
5. Pour drinks responsibly according to standards.
6. Verify guest age with ID in accordance with regulations.
7. Communicate cut-off times to guests as needed.
8. Respond to customer requests or concerns.
9. De-escalate intoxicated guest situations; contact management or security if necessary.
10. Seek management assistance if unable to resolve issues.
11. Restock and request additional products as needed.
12. Handle cash accurately and manage the bar's cash bank.
13. Maintain a clean and sanitary work station, ensuring equipment is clean and well-maintained.
14. Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of the cooler.
15. Have at least six months of bartending experience.
16. Possess accurate cash handling skills.
17. Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
18. Work independently and as part of a team.
19. Communicate effectively and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
20. Be flexible to work nights, weekends, and long hours.
21. Preferably, have attended bartending school.
