Sodexo is hiring a Bartender Non-Tipped at the University of Vermont. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, quickly mixing and serving drinks, and coordinating with servers to ensure fast, accurate service.

The position requires 0–1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work varied shifts. Candidates must meet age requirements to serve alcohol and will be part-time, on-call, at the university location.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of relevant bartending experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of beverage recipes and mix drinks correctly.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.

Aufgaben

• Greet customers, mix and serve cocktails with and without alcohol, and create recipes with proper garnishes.
• Ensure bar area is stocked with tools and products needed to mix drinks and serve customers.
• Prepare accurate starter counts and issue inventory orders as needed to replenish supplies.
• Be cordial, diplomatic, and attentive when dealing with customers.
• Significant walking or moving around required during shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk as needed; shifts can exceed 8 hours.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive motions as required.
• Attend and arrive on time for shifts; maintain regular attendance.
• Additional tasks may be assigned and can vary by account.
