Bartender | Part-Time | Charles Playhouse

Overview

Oak View Group is a global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. We operate world-class venues including arenas, convention centers, music festivals, and more.

Role Responsibilities
  • Serve all beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, maintaining high service standards.
  • Follow pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide accurate service.
  • Serve alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal regulations.
  • Upsell products by knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Check IDs to verify age requirements.
  • De-escalate intoxicated or confrontational guests.
  • Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at your bar.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work station and equipment.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including organization and restocking.
Qualifications
  • Minimum six months bartending experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Knowledge of alcohol service regulations.
  • Bartending school certification preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate of $10.00, tip-eligible. Benefits include 401(k) savings plan and matching.
