Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to liquor laws and regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
2. Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all necessary supplies.
3. Maintain stock and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
4. Greet guests courteously.
5. Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks per recipes; practice portion control.
6. Check IDs for guest age verification.
7. Detect and respond to guest intoxication as trained; demonstrate liquor law knowledge.
8. Ensure vouchers are properly executed.
9. Secure all beverage products, food, equipment, and cash.
10. Perform cleaning tasks to meet health standards; keep work area organized.
11. Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
12. Wash and sterilize stemware.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
