Job summary

Hyatt Centric The Woodlands is seeking a Part Time Bartender to provide customized beverage recommendations and maintain an attractive, well-stocked bar in a fast-paced setting on Market Street.

Ideal applicants will bring knowledge of mixology, bar equipment, and state guidelines, delivering engaging guest interactions while upholding sanitation and safety standards. Flexible hours and potential growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have Texas Food Handler certificate and TABC.
• Experience in restaurant/bar setting preferred.
• Strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests food and beverage orders.
• Engage with guests and provide beverage recommendations.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning to maintain high sanitation standards.
• Maintain an inventory of daily supplies and ensure glassware and bar are presentable.

Bartenders are responsible for providing customized beverage- and food recommendations to our guests. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one’s style and previous bartending experiences. Main duties are, but not limited to: serving guests food and beverage orders, engaging with our guests, complete daily-and weekly cleaning duties to ensure the highest sanitation standards are followed and glassware and bar are presentable as well as maintaining a daily supply inventory. Preferred candidates can work independently and understands state and local serving guidelines.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Texas Food Handler certificate and TABC required.
• Previous experience in a restaurant and/or bar setting is strongly preferred.
