Job summary

Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, part of the Accor family, seeks a service-minded Bartender for Liberté Restobar. You will engage guests to create a memorable dining experience, welcome them, explain the menu, and take food and beverage orders.

You will serve beverages and foods according to Sofitel and AAA 4 Diamond standards, maintain knowledge of offerings, and manage setup and breakdown of the Liberte Restobar Lounge during your shift.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of bartending experience in upscale venues or 4-diamond hotels.
• Experience with wine service and high-end liquors preferred.
• Skilled in providing attentive guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to create a memorable dining experience.
• Welcome guests in Liberté Restobar, explain the menu and take orders.
• Serve beverages and food per Sofitel and AAA 4 Diamond standards.

We are seeking a service-minded, highlyprofessional individual to join our team as a Bartenderin ourLiberte Restobar.

What will you be doing:

• Showcasing your unique personality and skills, you will engage with guests to create a memorable dining experience!
• You will be responsible for welcoming guests in our urban chic lounge Liberté, explaining the menu and taking food and beverage orders.
• You will serve food and beverages according to Sofitel and AAA 4 Diamond standards maintaining current knowledge of all menu offerings, to include ingredients, preparation method, and presentation.
• You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the Liberte` Restobar Lounge during your assigned shift.

Qualifications

Your skills and qualifications:

• Qualified candidate will be personable, articulate and have at least 2 year of previous bartending experience in an upscale, high end restaurant or 4 diamond hotel and 1 year of previous serving experience.
• Knowledge of Silverware is a plus, or two years’ experience with a comparable restaurant software system.
• Candidate should have experience in opening and closing shifts, table service, wine service, knowledge of food and wine pairing, knowledge of high-end liquors and aperitifs and experience with a high end bar menu.
• Qualified candidate will bepleasant, well spoken, gracious and willing to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
