Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a friendly bartender to deliver high‑quality service at our bar area. You will set up the bar, mix drinks, greet guests, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of bartending experience, a valid driver's license, and good communication skills. TIPS certification is preferred. We offer paid sick leave, DailyPay, and access to SunRewards perks.

Responsibilities

• Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol (Essential)
• Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as ordered, in a timely manner and in compliance with company standards (Essential)
• Operates cash register and receives payment from customer in cash or credit card, and accurately counts and provides change to customers when applicable (Essential)
• Monitors the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting the sale to those who are intoxicated. Orders taxis or other means of transportation for intoxicated patrons (Essential)
• Operates in compliance with federal, state and local law requirements for serving alcohol (Essential)
• Greets customers and takes beverage orders for guests from restaurant servers
• Performs shift opening and closing duties as directed by the Restaurant Manager
• Presents menus, takes orders and serves food to guests seated at the bar
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains bar area including counters and equipment
• Prepares garnishes, stocks, and replenishes beverages and garnishment supply as needed
• Other duties as assigned
