Job summary

Palihotel Hollywood is hiring a Bartender to bring energy behind the bar, crafting well-made drinks and building rapport with guests from brunch to late-night service. You will maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere and keep the bar tidy while learning Palisociety's steps of service, products, and systems.

We seek at least 1 year of bartending experience in a full-service or fast-casual setting, strong knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving, and clear English communication with basic

• 1 year of related experience as a Bartender in a high-quality full-service or fast-casual environment.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks, with the ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
• Clear communication skills, fluent in English, with basic arithmetic for tabs and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Craft drinks for every occasion — mimosas at brunch, chef's-tasting-menu pairings, or espresso to-go.
• Create a warm, laidback atmosphere and keep the bar tidy and welcoming for guests and staff alike.
• Learn our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.
• Restock, replenish, and prep the bar as needed.
• Communicate openly with bar and restaurant managers on customer feedback.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to make sure overnight guests know about exclusive bar offerings and promotions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• 1 year of related experience as a Bartender in a high-quality full-service or fast-casual environment.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks, with the ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
• Clear communication skills, fluent in English, with basic arithmetic for tabs and inventory.

Physical

• Standing and walking throughout the shift, with the ability to lift up to 30lbs and carry bar stock as needed.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
