Job Description
The Bartender is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. The position also involves providing beverage service to Belterra Casino Resort guests and cocktail servers while maintaining excellent customer relations.

• Provides superior customer service, positively influences interactions with customers and employees, and handles difficult situations with resiliency.
• Maintains company funds and equipment properly.
• Pours drinks according to recipes; keeps the work environment clean and safe.
• Demonstrates product offerings and ordering procedures.
• Monitors supply levels at assigned bars.
• Communicates problems or issues to the supervisor.
• Responsible for the security and accuracy of the assigned bank, and accountable for overages and shortages.
• Opens and closes the bar following procedures.
• Provides work direction to bar attendants.

Qualifications

• Ability to mix a wide variety of drinks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of all bar equipment.
• Ability to direct cocktail servers.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications required by Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Indiana ABC Permit (Liquor License) required.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

The skills and abilities are typically acquired through an accredited bartending course or two years of experience in high-volume cocktail service, preferably in a hotel or casino environment.
