Job summary

The Setai in Miami Beach is seeking an experienced Bartender to deliver a refined beverage experience with advanced mixology and deep product knowledge, aligned to luxury service standards.

You will work in a world-class hospitality environment, engaging guests professionally while maintaining a pristine, well-stocked bar and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a full-time, non-management role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Bartender in a luxury setting.
• Proven experience in high-volume, luxury service environments.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, craft mixology, spirits, wine, sake, and beer.
• Forbes-rated or Michelin-recognized venues preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages to luxury standards.
• Execute classic and signature cocktails with consistency and presentation.
• Engage with guests in a professional, warm, and discreet manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
• Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Process orders and handle cash and POS transactions.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the beverage menu and ingredients.
• Collaborate with Barbacks and management to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for delivering an exceptional, refined beverage experience to guests while upholding the highest standards of luxury service. This role requires advanced mixology skills, deep product knowledge, and a polished, professional presence consistent with a world-class hospitality environment.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Bartender in a luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or high-end cocktail bar

• Proven experience in high-volume, luxury service environments

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, craft mixology, premium spirits, wine, sake, and beer

• Experience in Forbes-rated or Michelin-recognized venues strongly preferred

Grooming & Appearance Standards (Strictly Enforced)

• All Bartenders must comply with The Setai grooming standards, as they are guest-facing ambassadors of the brand:

• Hair must be neatly groomed, clean, and styled conservatively

  • Long hair must be secured and tied back

• Facial hair must be clean-shaven or neatly trimmed and maintained daily

• Nails must be short, clean, and clear, neutral, or dark red only

  • No nail designs or excessive length

• Makeup (if worn) must be natural and understated

• Jewelry must be minimal and professional

• No visible tattoos unless approved and compliant with company policy

• Uniform must be clean, pressed, and properly fitted at all times

• Shoes must be plain black, polished, slip-resistant

• Personal hygiene must meet luxury hospitality standards at all times
