Job summary

Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma is seeking a Bartender (non-gaming) to prepare and serve beverages for casino guests. You will verify legal age with IDs and follow ABLE laws while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and a strong customer-service mindset. High school diploma and liquor license (or ability to obtain) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 2-3 years of prior bar experience preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen, background check, and obtain a key gaming license.
• Must hold current liquor license or ability to obtain one within 10 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests drinks and collect payments.
• Prepare drinks from recipes.
• Verify legal age by checking IDs.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness at all times.
• Abide by ABLE laws and responsible serving.
• Stock work area and wash glasses.
• Operate cash register and handle money/credit card transactions.
• Perform end of shift paperwork.
