Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Tejon is seeking a personable Bartender to deliver outstanding service, greet guests, mix cocktails, and guide guests through menu options. You will be responsible for preparing drinks, maintaining the bar, and ensuring a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires at least 1 year of high-volume bartending experience, strong knowledge of beer, liquor and wines, plus excellent customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of high-volume bartending experience.
• Must demonstrate extensive beer, liquor, and wine knowledge.
• Must know history and composition of common ingredients, spirits, beer, and wines.
• Must demonstrate spirit differentiation and drink preparation techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly, outgoing attitude.

Responsibilities

• Takes customer drink orders.
• Greet guests and provide outstanding service with drink and food specials.
• Totals bills, presents check, receives payment.
• Reconcile transactions and maintain a balanced bank.
• Know menu items, ingredients, allergens, and bar lists to assist guests.
• Prepare cocktails per recipes using correct tools and glassware.
• Memorize ingredients and recipes for Hard Rock cocktails and present accordingly.
• Develop new cocktail recipes as directed by management.
• Greet guests and help select food/beverages, answer questions about menus.
• Serve food and beverages with timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintain bar inventory and communicate ordering needs to management.
• Promote positive customer relations and work with culinary team to maximize guest satisfaction.
