Job summary

Bartenders at Country Club of Detroit work under guidance from the Executive Bartenders. Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on member requests. This position is specifically servicing our Men's locker room bar. Essential duties include preparing beverages, interacting with members, setting up and breaking down

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive.
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness.
• Ability to enforce club policies regarding the consumption of alcohol and other rules & etiquette of the club.
• Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing chits.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Open availability, preferred.
• Potential for full-time status.

Responsibilities

• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (i.e. mix traditional and creative cocktails, pour beer, wine, soda, etc.)
• Interacting with members, taking orders and serving drinks
• Setting up and breaking down banquet bars
• Polishing and carrying racks of glassware
• Stocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies (i.e. beer, wine, liquor, fruit, soda cans, etc.)
• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area and stock area

Minimum Skills & Qualifications

Working Conditions
