Job Summary:

The Bartender at Latitude Restaurant and Flo Bar is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional guest service, and contributing to a dynamic and engaging atmosphere. This position supports both the main restaurant bar and poolside service areas, ensuring consistent quality, prompt service, and an upbeat, welcoming experience.

Onsite: Black Desert Resort – Latitude Restaurant & Flo Bar

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Part Time

Pay Rate: $9/hr plus tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at Latitude Restaurant and Flo Bar.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and timely service to bar guests and poolside patrons.
• Assist with poolside service operations, including drink delivery to lounge areas and outdoor seating.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and full stocking of both indoor and outdoor bars.
• Uphold garnish preparation, proper glassware use, and standard recipes to ensure consistency.
• Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service protocols.
• Take food and beverage orders when needed and input into the POS system accurately.
• Maintain awareness of guest preferences and engage in genuine hospitality and conversation.
• Support setup and breakdown of bar service areas, including during private or resort events.
• Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support seamless service
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a bartender in a high-volume or upscale restaurant or resort.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and wine/beer offerings.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including poolside.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and maintain composure in fast-paced service situations.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service and possess any required state/local certifications.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort seasons.
