Overview

Opportunity: Bartender

Serve beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, achieving a high level of guest satisfaction.

Your Growth Path

Beverage Manager/Restaurant Supervisor – Restaurant Manager – Food & Beverage Manager

Your Focus

1. Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
2. Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
3. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
4. Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
5. If applicable, take orders, serve, and clear food and beverages for guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas.
6. Issue guest checks and complete the payment process.
7. Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
8. Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed.
9. Complete required side work prior to shift end.
10. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
11. Assist with beverage inventory management.
12. Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
13. Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
14. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
15. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

1. High school diploma preferred.
2. TIPS certification is a plus.
3. Previous bartending/mixologist experience or equivalent training required.
4. Food Sanitation certification is a plus; required within 90 days of employment.
