We are looking for energetic and courteous Bartenders, who will jump on board with our goals of providing pleasant and memorable experiences for all our guests. Kentucky State Parks hire seasonal Bartender positions during Parks’ peak season from March through December each year.
As a seasonal (interim) Bartender, you will be eligible for paid leave and paid holidays. Other perks include tons of employee discounts!
You may be required to work overtime or alternate work schedules, lift heavy objects, work on your feet for extended periods, and frequently communicate in person or by other means of technology.
Salary listed is an hourly rate (plus any tips earned).
Education: High school graduate.
Experience, Training, or Skills: Must have one year of experience in food service operations.
Special Requirements (Age, Licensure, Regulation, etc.): Must be eighteen years of age. Must obtain S.T.A.R. (Server Training in Alcohol Regulations) certification from the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within 90 days of employment. Must complete the Department of Parks alcohol training before serving alcohol. Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
