Bastrop, TX – Part‑time Market Associate

The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul‑destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions. Our onsite Market, The Boring Bodega, is open to employees as well as the general public and offers fresh food, groceries, an onsite barbershop, and more. We are looking for part‑time Market Associates capable of working up to 30 hours per week.

Requirements

• You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with. That's why it's so important to smile, greet, and thank every customer.
• The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You must juggle multiple tasks in a short amount of time while helping customers: scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items properly, counting cash back, and keeping your area clean.
• It takes a special person who is positive, can multi‑task, and has a passion for customer service and helping others.

Basic Qualifications
