Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up and stocks the bar with beer, wine, spirits, supplies, and garnishes.
• Maintains fresh garnishes and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders, mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks.
• Checks IDs for age verification.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Handles cash, verifies charges, and records transactions.
• Secures all beverage and cash assets.
• Performs cleaning tasks to meet health standards.
• Maintains attractive display of bottles and glasses.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
