Job description

Position Summary

Prepares all alcoholic beverages for guests and venue servers. Actively takes orders, conducts full and complete food/beverage service, and monitors guests' bar/dining experience. Interacts with guests, team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

Essential Functions

  1. Anticipate and accommodate guest needs.
  2. Provide professional and exceptional service.
  3. Present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage items.
  4. Inform guests of specials and prices.
  5. Solicit allergy or dietary restrictions from guests.
  6. Enter all orders accurately into the POS system and process payments properly.
  7. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
  8. Maintain cleanliness of the bar and venue.
  9. Organize liquor displays and maintain par levels.
  10. Follow supervisor instructions, support team members, and be a team player.
  11. Possess in-depth knowledge of menus and company standards.
  12. Serve alcohol in accordance with regulations and standards.
  13. Comply with health and sanitation standards.
  14. Complete end-of-shift financial procedures accurately.
  15. Communicate guest needs to relevant staff and management.
  16. Set up bar stations, perform opening/closing procedures, and restock supplies.
  17. Report equipment or furniture damage immediately.
  18. Participate in pre-service meetings and training sessions.
  19. Demonstrate professionalism and knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality.
  20. Assist with additional tasks as assigned.

Training & Experience

  • Tao Group Hospitality in-venue bartender training.
  • 1-2 years of professional beverage experience.
  • Previous bartending experience in high-volume settings.

Skills & Physical Demands

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and energy.
  • Legible printing.
  • Ability to kneel, bend, stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in noisy, crowded, and smoky environments.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Team-oriented and discreet.
