Position Summary
Prepares all alcoholic beverages for guests and venue servers. Actively takes orders, conducts full and complete food/beverage service, and monitors guests' bar/dining experience. Interacts with guests, team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.
Essential Functions
- Anticipate and accommodate guest needs.
- Provide professional and exceptional service.
- Present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage items.
- Inform guests of specials and prices.
- Solicit allergy or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Enter all orders accurately into the POS system and process payments properly.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and venue.
- Organize liquor displays and maintain par levels.
- Follow supervisor instructions, support team members, and be a team player.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of menus and company standards.
- Serve alcohol in accordance with regulations and standards.
- Comply with health and sanitation standards.
- Complete end-of-shift financial procedures accurately.
- Communicate guest needs to relevant staff and management.
- Set up bar stations, perform opening/closing procedures, and restock supplies.
- Report equipment or furniture damage immediately.
- Participate in pre-service meetings and training sessions.
- Demonstrate professionalism and knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
Training & Experience
- Tao Group Hospitality in-venue bartender training.
- 1-2 years of professional beverage experience.
- Previous bartending experience in high-volume settings.
Skills & Physical Demands

- Ability to kneel, bend, stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in noisy, crowded, and smoky environments.
