Job Summary

Bartender Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of products and cocktails is essential.
• Prepare beverages maintaining quality standards as mandated by the GM.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standardized recipes.
• Recognize regular guests by name.
• Record orders accurately into POS system.
• Handle payments and process credit card transactions.
• Wash, sterilize, and prepare glassware and garnishes.
• Maintain attractive and functional bottles and glasses for efficiency and promotion.
• Clear and reset the bar area.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Make recommendations and answer guest questions about food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness in all bar areas.
• Serve food to guests at the bar.
• Report equipment and maintenance issues.
• Assist in restaurant operations as needed.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of food, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Follow health and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Experience in bartending preferred but not required.
• Neat appearance and willingness to learn.
• Open-minded, team player, able to work under pressure.
• Excellent memorization and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
