Job summary

Kumori is expanding its bar team in Kirkland, WA, inviting motivated bartenders to deliver high-quality drinks, greet guests, and maintain an inviting, efficient bar. This role offers full-time and part-time shifts, competitive pay, and tips in a lively hospitality setting.

You’ll set up the bar, prepare garnishes, manage stock, follow standards, and collaborate with a friendly team to ensure memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of gastronomy and strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and beverages.
• Ability to apply service standards consistently.
• Basic computer and POS system skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to address guest needs promptly.
• Read body language and maintain professionalism.
• Organized, dynamic, and detail-oriented in drink preparation.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Set up the bar, prepare fruits, garnishes, juices, and all required mise en place.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them upon departure.
• Promote, sell, and take orders from guests seated at the bar.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and respectful attitude with guests and colleagues.
• Meet daily sales and service objectives set by management.
• Complete bar cleaning tasks, shine glassware, and maintain impeccable presentation.
• Monitor bar shortages and communicate with the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare drinks and bar orders accurately and efficiently.
