Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor laws and regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars, stocks beer, wine, spirits, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintains stock and quality of garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders, mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following recipes.
• Checks IDs for alcohol service.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly, demonstrating liquor law knowledge.
• Handles cash, makes change, verifies charges, and records transactions.
• Secures beverages, food, equipment, and cash.
• Performs cleaning tasks to meet health standards.
• Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
