Job summary

The Sports Facilities Companies is seeking a Bartender for our Rosenberg venue. The role involves prepping the bar for service, serving guests, and maintaining stock and cleanliness during events and regular service.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position rooted in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of customer service experience in events or venues, a TX mixology certification, and the ability to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience in an event, venue, or hospitality setting.
• Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays.
• Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Certification required prior to start date.
• Food Handlers Permit required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately prepare and serve beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
• Interact with guests, take orders and serve snacks/drinks.
• Operate a cashless point-of-sale system.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Keep bar and lounge areas clean and well presented.
• Prepare batch mixes per F&B Manager specifications.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Position Summary

The Bartender will prep the bar for regular service and special events, maintain the bar during service while serving guests, and will be responsible for the restock and cleanup of the bar. We are looking for positive individuals to responsibly prepare beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and serve our guests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Efficiently and accurately prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages


• Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks/drinks


• Operate a point-of-sale unit; we are a cashless venue


• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies


• Ensure bar and lounge areas are clean and well presented


• Able to prepare batch mixes according to specs provided by F&B Manager


• Any additional tasks assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons


• Ability to work individually or with others in a fast-paced work environment


• One year of customer service experience in a event, or venue preferred


• Prior experience with bartending and food preferred in events and or a venue


• Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays


• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Must have and maintain Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Certification and a Food Handlers Permit required to have prior to start date
