Job summary

White Lodging is hiring a bartender for Courtyard Austin Downtown. You’ll provide high-quality service, build guest connections, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere in a hotel bar setting.

The role emphasizes knowledge of menu items, ability to work a fast pace, and flexibility to work long hours, weekends and holidays as needed. Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must provide friendly, attentive service and engage guests.
• Ability to stand and move quickly for long shifts.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to guests with friendly conversation and suggestions.
• Know menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer questions.
• Process payments and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Maintain high cleaning standards of the bar and perform daily side work.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, friendly work environment.
• Check IDs and monitor beverage consumption; prevent overservice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
