Job summary

Sodexo seeks a Bartender Non-Tipped at the University of Maine at Farmington. This on-call, part-time role involves fast, friendly service, crafting drinks, and working closely with servers to ensure guests receive prompt attention.

Responsibilities include maintaining stocked bar, crafting cocktails, and precise inventory counts. Must be 0–1 year experience and meet legal drinking age requirements; flex shifts and interview-based details offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of relevant bartending experience.
• Must be of legal drinking age per local/state regulations.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of cocktails and mix drinks correctly.

Responsibilities

• Receive customers, mix and serve drinks with and without alcohol and create drinks recipes with proper garnishes.
• Ensure bar area is fully stocked with the tools and products needed to mix beverages and serve customers.
• Prepare accurate counts and issue inventory or purchase orders as needed to replenish supplies.
• Bartenders must be cordial, diplomatic and attentive to customers.
• A significant amount of walking or moving about; stand for long periods during shifts.
