Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Bartender Non-Tipped at the University of Maine at Orono to provide exceptional customer service, mix and serve drinks, and coordinate with servers to deliver fast service. This on-call, part-time role requires flexibility with shifts and a focus on accuracy in drink preparation.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 0–1 year of experience, and the ability to work at least various shifts while maintaining safety and courtesy toward guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to mix drinks and prepare a wide range of beverages.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol per local/state law.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and mix/serve drinks quickly.
• Ensure bar area is stocked and organized with necessary tools.
• Prepare accurate drink counts and place inventory orders as needed.
• Be cordial, diplomatic, and attentive to customers.
