Job summary

Sodexo Live is hiring a Bartender Tipped at Northern Illinois University. You will provide customer service, mix and serve drinks, and collaborate with staff to ensure prompt service. The role requires maintaining bar stock, following safety guidelines, and delivering a positive guest experience.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 0–1 year related experience, and being of legal drinking age. On-call part-time hours apply with a $17/hour wage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• Ability to make a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly is preferred.
• Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol or bartend per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, mix and serve drinks, and create recipes with garnishes.
• Ensure bar is stocked with tools and products for mixing and serving.
• Prepare inventory counts and place purchase requisitions as needed.
• Be friendly, tactful and attentive with customers.
• Walk or stand for extended periods and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time.
• Other duties may be assigned depending on account requirements.
